Lunch money, with a clock
The Hell is Us Deluxe Edition is $11.99 on the US Xbox Store, down from $79.99, which is 85% off. The listing says “Offer ends 11/9/2026”, so the sale runs out on Monday 9 November and the store banner reads “ends in 1 day”. That makes today and tomorrow the window.
Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure from developer Rogue Factor, published by Nacon. Its pitch is simple and a little stubborn: no map, no compass, no quest markers. The store page describes it as a game where you follow your instincts through a semi-open world, with melee combat against creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. You swing a sword from a different age and lean on a drone for support.
What the deluxe edition holds
The deluxe edition bundles the base game, which the same page lists at $59.99, with extras. We read the extras as nice to have, not the reason to buy. Here is the full list from the store:
- The Hollow Walker Pack, an exclusive skin for Remi and his drone KAPI
- The Phol Guard Pack, another exclusive skin for Remi and KAPI
- An exclusive investigation
- The Art Pack, with the digital artbook and original soundtrack
The page also lists a Secret Code add-on in the bundle. The store labels the game Optimized for Xbox Series X|S, with 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, 60 fps+, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X among its capabilities. It is single player and carries a Mature 17+ rating.
Who should grab it
Our view: the base game alone is $59.99 on the same page, so you pay $11.99 for the whole bundle and the cosmetics come free. At that price the no-hand-holding design is a cheap experiment. If a game that makes you read the world and trust your own notes sounds like your thing, this is an easy yes. If you want waypoints and a tidy checklist, skip it, because that is exactly what the game takes away.
The listing shows Xbox Play Anywhere, and the page names PC and Xbox Series X|S under “Play with”. If you are playing on console, our look at the five Xbox October update features worth switching on is a good companion for keeping it up to date.
Mind the clock more than the price. The store does not give an hour for 9 November, so we would not wait for the last evening. Other picks of ours include The Outlast Trials at $11.99 on Steam, and if the pad is the weak link, the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core at $111.74 is worth a look. Price checked on the Xbox Store on 8 November 2026; deals can change.
