A green tick for the truck
Handheld owners can stop squinting at compatibility notes: Truckful Steam Deck Verified status is now official. MythicOwl announced the news on Steam on 3 November 2026 (09:06 UTC), calling it the “official green tick.”
The timing is the odd part. The studio says the game was already running very well on Valve’s handheld around its 9 October launch, so the badge confirms something players had been told rather than fixing anything. Truckful is a single-player delivery adventure from MythicOwl and Pocketpair Publishing: you drive a pickup through countryside valleys, bring goods to townsfolk and slowly unpick the mystery of the old forest.

Ten patches since launch
Since release, MythicOwl says, the game has received ten patches that kept improving performance “among other things.” That is a lot of upkeep for a game that is barely a month old, and it’s the detail we’d weigh most. A Verified tick that arrives after ten rounds of fixes suggests the team kept tuning once players were in the game.
The studio points readers to its Steam news page for the full list of what changed. We’d start there before judging the badge on its own.

Built for a controller
Steam’s store listing shows full controller support, with DualShock and DualSense support, a “Gamepad Recommended” tag and Steam Cloud saves. For a game about physics-based handling with fragile cargo in the bed, that is the right shape of thing to carry around. The listing names Windows, Mac and Linux, and the minimum requirements are modest: 4 GB of RAM, a 2 GB VRAM GeForce 900-series-class GPU and 2 GB of storage.

December patch and the price
MythicOwl says it is working on a major patch scheduled for December, and that it has “something in the sleeve” for next week. It gave no detail on either, so there is nothing to promise yet. The studio also nudged players to buy or wishlist the game ahead of the Steam Winter Sale.
The price on Steam’s US store page was $19.99 on 7 November 2026, with no discount showing; prices can change. GameGrin also reported the Verified status on 6 November and repeated the December patch timing.
We think the badge matters most to people who liked the look of a cozy, slightly eerie errand-runner and were waiting for the handheld question to be settled. If that is you, it is settled. For more single-player picks to line up next, see our best PC games of 2026 and the upcoming PC games list.
