These Cyberpunk 2077 mods come from the top of Nexus Mods’ own rankings. The figure on each card is endorsements as of 27 October 2026, rounded, and it only changes when we recheck the list.
Most of the top Cyberpunk 2077 mods are scripting, loading and tweaking tools that extend what the game itself can do, with a few player-facing mods such as Immersive First Person 2.0.
Framework

Cyber Engine Tweaks
by yamashi
A scripting framework with quality-of-life fixes. It adds an in-game overlay with a console and settings and hotkey screens, and its patches can be switched on or off in the settings menu.

redscript
by jac3km4
A compiler for the game’s scripting language that adds or replaces game scripts. It keeps a backup of the original scripts, so uninstalling means restoring one file.

RED4ext
by WopsS
A script extender for REDengine 4, the engine behind Cyberpunk 2077. It loads plugins that add features, change game behavior and add scripting functions, and it has no menu of its own.

ArchiveXL
by psiberx
An archive extension loader that lets mods add or modify game resources without overwriting each other. It can also add character customization options, localization text and journal entries.

TweakXL
by psiberx
Loads changes to the game’s TweakDB database from files, and adds script extensions. Changes can be written as YAML or RED tweaks and hot-reloaded.

Codeware
by psiberx
A library of script extensions for redscript and Cyber Engine Tweaks. It adds functions for weather control, entity events, menu popups and text input.
Camera

Immersive First Person 2.0
by Bonaniki
Shows more of V’s body in first person, adds an independent free-look camera and lets you adjust the apparent height.
