No PC sheet yet
What this fixes: confusion about GTA 6 PC requirements that circulate as if Rockstar had published them. Who it’s for: PC players waiting on a system checklist before they buy parts or a prebuilt. Short version: Rockstar has not published PC minimum or recommended specs, and the confirmed launch is console-only right now.
As of 4 November 2026, Rockstar’s official Grand Theft Auto VI site lists Grand Theft Auto VI as coming 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-load beginning 10 November. There is no PC SKU, no Steam page with a requirements block, and no Rockstar tech blog post that names CPU, GPU, RAM or storage targets for Windows.

What Rockstar has actually confirmed
- Release window on the official site: 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Pre-load begins 10 November (Rockstar site banner).
- Editions and pre-order framing (Ultimate Edition, Vintage Vice City pack) are console-store products on that same page — not a PC storefront.
Console download size is a separate story. Our note on GTA 6 pre-loads two days early covers Rockstar’s early pre-load window and the ~212 GB figure reported for the console install — useful storage planning for living-room hardware, not a substitute for a PC recommended-spec sheet.
If you are planning a new build while you wait on Rockstar’s PC specs, our PC Builder can help you sanity-check part choices against a budget.
What to ignore until Rockstar speaks
You will see third-party “PC requirements” tables that invent Core i7 / RTX tiers or recycle GTA V / GTA Online numbers with a bump. We are not repeating any of those lists here. If a chart does not cite Rockstar, Take-Two, or a store page Rockstar controls, treat it as speculation.
The same caution applies to performance forecasts tied to trailers. the launch trailer coverage and Edge’s extended look are useful for tone and scope; they are not hardware guidance.
What PC players can do now
- Bookmark Rockstar’s VI page and wait for an official PC announcement before buying parts “for GTA 6”.
- If you are building a PC for 2026–2027 AAA games in general, size the GPU and storage for titles that already ship with real recommended specs — not for a phantom GTA 6 sheet.
- Keep console pre-load storage free if that is how you plan to play on day one; the PC wait is still open-ended.
Our take
We think the honest answer is the boring one: there are no official GTA 6 PC requirements to meet yet, and shopping against fan-made tables is how people overspend. When Rockstar publishes a real sheet, that is the day to reopen the parts list — not before.
