Two RPGs for fifteen dollars

The LISA Definitive Edition bundle is $14.99 on the Epic Games Store, 40% off its $24.99 price, until 10 November 2026 at 06:59 UTC (8:59 AM GMT+2 on Epic’s page). That gets you LISA: The Painful and its sequel LISA: The Joyful together. It is bleak and violent, and that is the point.

What the bundle includes

Epic sells LISA: The Definitive Edition as a bundle from developer Dingaling Productions and publisher Serenity Forge. It pairs the original narrative-driven RPG, LISA: The Painful, with the sequel, LISA: The Joyful. Epic’s description invites you to “explore Olathe and unmask its twisted secrets.” The page lists Adventure, Indie and RPG as genres, with single-player and controller support.

  • Price: $14.99, down from $24.99 (US store pricing)
  • Ends: 10 November 2026 at 06:59 UTC
  • Platform: Windows PC, through the Epic Games Launcher with an Epic ID
  • Size: 800 MB of space per game

Rated 18+ for a reason

Epic marks the bundle 18+ for Extreme Violence and Strong Language. We would take that label at face value: this is not a cosy pick-up-and-play RPG, and the grim tone is the draw. If you want something that dares to be unpleasant, $15 for two games is an easy call.

The requirements are tiny. Epic lists Windows XP through 7 as the supported systems, a Pentium 4-class CPU and 512 MB of RAM, so almost any PC will cope. If a game refuses to start after install, our guide to verifying game files in the Epic Games Launcher covers the quick fix.

Our take on the price

We think this is a good use of fifteen dollars if you like story-first RPGs and can stomach the content. Two games for $14.99 is a fair trade, and the 40% cut is the whole reason to move now rather than later.

For a very different take on a story-driven game, see our Hades review. Another edition worth weighing is covered in our 007 First Light edition comparison. The LISA sale ends at 06:59 UTC on 10 November, so check the Epic page before then.
