Under $8 on Switch 2
Nintendo’s US eShop has Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for Nintendo Switch 2 at $7.99, 80% off the regular $39.99. We checked the store page on 4 November 2026 at about 07:15 SAST. The sale ends Tuesday 17 November at 07:59 UTC, which is 09:59 SAST.
No Switch Online needed
You don’t need a Nintendo Switch Online membership for the discount or to play. The game is listed as single player, and the page mentions Nintendo Switch Online only for Save Data Cloud. Square Enix is the publisher, and the Switch 2 release date on the page is January 22, 2026.
This is the Switch 2 edition, and Nintendo’s description says it includes FF7R Episode INTERmission, a side story starring Yuffie Kisaragi. The main game retells the original story up to the escape from Midgar and mixes real-time action with command-based combat. If Square Enix’s other big series is on your radar, our write-up of critics’ verdicts on Final Fantasy Resonance covers a different Final Fantasy, and FFXIV’s Evercold delay is the news from the online side.
Clear 90.4 GB first
The game file size on the page is 90.4 GB, so make room before you hit buy. Nintendo’s page also offers a demo, and we’d run that first if you’re on the fence: it costs nothing and tells you how the game feels on your own console before the sale ends.
One edition check: the Digital Deluxe Edition is also 80% off in the same sale, at $11.99 instead of $59.99. We haven’t compared what it adds over the standard edition, so check that before you pay the extra $4. This is US store pricing, and the page lists Nintendo Account family group lending as supported. Another Switch 2 date worth marking is 007 First Light’s Switch 2 release.
Our view: at $7.99 this is an easy yes for anyone with a Switch 2 and the storage to spare. Try the demo, then buy before the sale ends on 17 November.
