Deluxe undercuts the base game
Steam has 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition at $47.99, 40% off its regular $79.99, while the Standard Edition sits at $69.99 with no discount. That flips the usual order: the Deluxe is $22 cheaper than the Standard. Prices are from Steam’s US store, checked Tuesday 3 November 2026 at about 07:00 SAST.
The sale ends Monday 9 November 2026 at 18:00 UTC (20:00 SAST), per Steam’s listing.

What the Deluxe adds
Steam’s page lists the extras item by item. They are outfits and skins, and at this price we’d happily take them:
- Four outfits: Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor and Gentleman Operator
- One weapon skin: Agent’s Mark
- The Gleaming Pack, with four gadget skins: Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Phone and Gleaming Pen
Our view is simple: at these two prices, buy the Deluxe and ignore the Standard. Both are listed on the same Steam page, so you get the same game from IO Interactive, the extras above, and $22 back in your pocket. It’s the same kind of edition check we ran on Hogwarts Legacy’s Deluxe Edition, only here the bigger edition is also the cheaper one.

Before you click
007 First Light launched on Steam on May 26, 2026, and Steam lists it for Windows only. Steam’s page shows a Metacritic score of 84 for the PC version, and notes that a Path Tracing update with NVIDIA is live; the developer says it has updated the PC specs to match, so check them first. The listed minimum is an Intel Core i5 9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500, 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 1660 or RX 5700 and 80 GB of space, with an SSD required.
If you’re waiting on console, our earlier story covers the Switch 2 release date and price. For PC, the clock is the catch: the Standard Edition isn’t discounted, and the Deluxe’s regular price on Steam is $79.99, so we’d buy before Monday’s deadline.
