Standard is the sale pick
ASTRO BOT’s Standard Edition is $39.59 on the US PlayStation Store, down from $59.99, and the store labels the cut “Save 34%”. It’s part of PlayStation’s Black Friday sale, and it’s the edition we’d buy. We checked the price on 4 November 2026 at 10:03 SAST.
The store’s own text reads “Offer ends 11/21/2026 07:59 AM UTC”, which is 11:59 PM PST on Friday 20 November. No PlayStation Plus membership is needed to get this price. Team Asobi’s platformer is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and listed as a PS5 game, and the store’s description promises more than 50 planets to explore. Its player rating on the store is 4.77 stars from about 77,000 ratings.
Deluxe costs $30.40 more
Only Standard is on sale. The Digital Deluxe Edition is still $69.99, so today it’s $30.40 above the discounted base game. The store lists its extras as ASTRO’s Yharnam Hunter outfit, ASTRO’s Golden Outfit, the Neon Dream and Champions’ Gold Dual Speeder colours, 10 PSN Avatars and a Digital Soundtrack & Art Gallery. The store notes that game progression is required to unlock the outfits and colours.
| Edition | US price | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $39.59 (was $59.99) | Store label: Save 34% |
| Digital Deluxe Edition | $69.99 | Not discounted |
| Digital Deluxe Upgrade add-on | $10.00 | Not discounted |
We think that list is a hard sell at a $30.40 premium, and we’d skip it. If you change your mind later, the store also lists a $10.00 Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade add-on, also not discounted when we checked.
If you want more platforming in the meantime, our 3D platformer review roundup for Croc 2’s remake covers a very different kind of throwback. And if your PS5 drive is already crowded, our note on clearing PS5 storage for GTA 6 is worth a read before you add anything new.
One catch: this is US store pricing. PlayStation says discounts vary by region, so check your own store before assuming $39.59 applies where you are. The store’s cut-off is 20 November, US Pacific time; the wider sale runs later, but not every offer does.
